VKs at the Indy Irish Festival

Update: TPO's Daughter will be performing Saturday -4;00pm on the O'Brien Stage! Those of you who can join us on Saturday - let's meet at 1:30pm at this location. I'm sure that someone can direct you to the O'Brien Stage. If all else fails - call and we can meet up that way. Remember - 1:30 pm Sat. Sept. 20th. at the O'Brien Stage...

If you would like a preview, TPO says "She is doing a live TV bit on Channel 59 next Thursday morning at 7:30 or 7:40. Then early morning on Saturday (don't know the time yet)."

In Sept. 07, a few VKs decided that in Sept. 08, we would get together and go to the IrishFest in Indianapolis

One of our own VandysKids was involved last year. From a very good source, it was a smashing success. Great entertainment and good food! TPO - Will you be there this year?

2008 Goose Chase

I'm on the last day of my annual "Wild Goose Chase" with the helicopter, and there's no time to do much more than say, "T.G.I.F."!
Now, it 's been mighty quiet in these here parts lately. I know there is news or comment just waiting for a chance to be shared.

We have a gorgeous Saturday to enjoy here, but it's still raining North of us and the downhill flow will worsen our problem with almost overflowing riverbeds.

June Flood

I hope everyone survived the floods with no major damages. We set very high, so if we start getting flood waters in our place, time to build another Noah's Ark.

I was in Greenwood yesterday to attend a graduation party. Originally it was to be a the Westside Park. Received a call that Westside was under water and most of Old Town Park was, but the shelter was dry. We met there and here are a couple of pictures I took of both parks. The other pictures are of my creek in back and my nephew in his boat in front of his house. He lives in Wakefield on Smith Valley Road. These are minor compared to further south.
