Man, do I really wanta do this?
Not really....
But if I don't do it, I may weaken.
If I include you in this process, I'm more motivated to succeed,
so here goes:
I got on the scale this morning. I'm goin' to do it every Saturday morning until Mid-April, and I'll let you in on the results.
This morning, the scale said 205.
Actually, that's better than I expected.
So if I stick to my goal of averaging a pound a week loss, I'll weigh 188 pounds when I see you in May.
These weight reports can serve another purpose too-
If you have something you want to discuss in comments, bring it up here so we can all chime in!
Next Saturday, 204 or starve!

I just realized you are not overweight....you are just too short.
I swear I have seen that guy in the picture before?????
Nope...he wasn't a date.
But how 'bout that "grey" beard on that guy, huh?
VERY attractive!
Yeah, GH, I'm trying to find a supplement that promises to add inches to my height.
So far, the only thing I can find are substances that claim they'll add inches elsewhere.
I think I'll just rely on diet and exercise, thank you!
Just a thought, but please keep the beard--it's so Manly-Manly.
Your makeover assistant,
Bo
Heck GB,
Maybe that isn't such a bad offer?
but trim the beard some..okay?
You are just too funny.
Supplements??
I've tried both. Neither work!
Good Luck on the weight loss. Its so easy to put on and so hard to take off. I at one time was at 262# then I went the other way and was at 98# Then I got on a steady track for a long time and held my weight around 130#, but have started going back up in the last few years. I think my problem is just lack of exercise and too much time setting in front a computer doing designs.
Good Luck and remember the first few pounds comes off good and then you get hung up on a weight and can't drop any for a couple of weeks. Don't loose hope you will get there. I have faith in you.
I feel your pain, GB. My weight has become a source of constant self loathing.
Exercise is the only thing that ever worked for me. Several years ago, I started exercising every day and got down to a size 8-10. I looked good and felt good.
Then I made a critical error,,, I got a life and started doing fun things instead of exercising.
Now, there are few things that I can use to threaten myself with, ya know? I need to think of something and that is for sure.
So far my plan is to exercise daily,,, and so far I've done that one day in a row
That's one scary looking tubby! Is that a GUN hanging on the wall? Tubby needs to do more than lose a couple of hundred pounds...WOW!
One hint for you GB, I've found that eating instant oatmeal every morning has really helped me shed a few pounds. I also eat a fruit yogurt as a morning snack. I think that there's something to this oatmeal thing. I'm also convinced that Pilates is the exercise of choice! It works wonders on that "core". I'll be glad to send you a Pilates CD, if you interested in giving it a try.
So Good Luck to 'Ya I hope to see you at the DDFF a little lighter!
