What I hate is how much longer it takes me to do ANYTHING!
32 years with the Navy; with 1st MEF HQ at Camp Commando in Feb 2003 during the invasion; and now (military retired) 80 hours a week taking care of Vets which is the best deal of all cumulative duties(the WW 2 Vets do represent America's greatest generation - that was Vandy's generation) - but fatigue is setting in and Greybeard is spot on .... Thank you about the comment about my brother... he truly was one of the real deal and good guys....have a good 45th - God bless.
I discussed volunteering at our local VA hospital, Anon, and Sara Jean laughed at me...
"You'd continually be in tears."
And she might be right... at first.
I still think I'll give it a try this Fall.
Thank you for taking care of our warriors. They deserve the best we can give 'em.
