We Need a New Guide!

Well, we spent the afternoon on the water.
Cap'n Tom failed us again.
Nary a nibble on the end of anyone's line.

John suggested it first, and we all agreed.......
we need a new guide!

We hear there is someone quite knowledgeable about "Grouper Holes" and chumming that is available somewhere down around Sarasota, FL..
We are gonna try to make contact to see if we can schedule a fishing trip there.....
Sure as heck can't be any worse than our luck here!

You are toooo funny! Nary a bite yet? OMG!! Are you guys at least getting sun burned?

Here's a tip from Lady Hooker: After and during a full moon, my experience is that the fish aren't very hungry and just won't bite on any kind of bait.
My theory (laugh if you will, but I've turned my Hoosier Boy and some pretty heavy-hitting fishermen into believers)is that the fish are able to eat so much for so many days & nights because they can see the bait fish... because it's so bright with the full moon. Hey, they just aren't hungry!
Come to Islamorada sometime during the first 2 weeks in June (hopefully a no-moon phase) and we'll go trolling for Dolphin. We can also go Yellow Tailing with lots of ucky chum, however I can only Yellow Tail if it's extremely calm... I'm a puker unless I'm trolling. And believe me, that's not a pretty site.

After a good day on the water, you can take your catch to a local bar for "hook & cook". Nothin' like it: Cold Beer and Fresh Fish!

If you come to Sarasota and the winds are calm, we can hit the grouper holes, and if the time is right, we can troll off the beach for Kings!

I sure feel for all of you on the GGFF! I've had my share of bad days on the water and know how you all feel. It's not like you live there and can go out any time!

Hey, is it too much to ask for a couple of fish in the box at the end of the day?????
Go Get 'Em Tomorrow! Time's A Wastin'

Well, y'all may not have caught any fish, but it sounds like you had a great time. Glad y'all made it back home safe.
