Mike George
I'm a little late with this but you remember Mike George. He was in our class until he moved to Franklin after the 7th grade ( once a classmate always a classmate ). He graduated Franklin '65 . He passed away Dec.5th. The way the paper read it was a heart problem. He was 59.
I wonder how many kids passed through the class of '65 ?

Is this the guy that had the Grand Mal seizure in drafting class that scared the bejeepers outta me?

Mike George is the one that got into a fight with Sammy Eaton outside the gym.
I remember Mike George. When we were in 1st grade he lived on Frye Rd. in BoMar. Matter of fact, I think I knew him before we started school. I got to know him again when he was in Franklin H.S. He dated and I think married a girlfriend of my cousin who was in the class of '65 in Franklin. She was not mentioned in the obit.
I do remember the big fight with him and Sammy outside the gym. Was that fight after school? I remember a bunch of kids being out there watching the fight. Did everyone just run out of the building to watch??? Can't imagine that happening!
I remember Mike George very well. I had a major crush on him even after he moved to Franklin, but the feelings were never returned. Ahhh, those school girl crushes. Anyhow, my dad and his dad were good friends, from where I don't know, but I do remember my family visiting his family after they moved to Franklin. So sad to hear of his passing.
