Classmates

I hope you can read this article and this post works out, my first time with the article.

Mystery
John T. found this article in the Nov.15th Daily Journal. He was asking me if I knew who this was. I looked in the books and could only find the last name in the 1990 class. Like I told Graybeard, we had about 140 in our class but think about 440 have claimed to have been in the great class of ' 65. Anybody have any idea who this is ?

No idea who it could be. There was no Casey in our class, unless someone took a nickname after HS.
And no Bade, unless that's a married name.

Ya, know Cynthia A. works at the Journal. I wonder if should could find out who it is. I'm pretty sure they have to have a name and address before they print a letter to the editor.... don't they?

And I think the motto was "give us a place to stand and we will change the world"

We need to ask this guy/gal some Trojan Trivia!! Probably just some Woodman wishing to be a Trojan.

If I remenber the class moto was " Give us a place to stand and we will move the world".
Casey, Man Or woman ?

I think you are right about the motto, Hawk.

As far as Casey being a man or woman,,, hard to tell without a thorough exam ;)

You go first. ;))

It's PAT!
(Saturday Night Live humor.)

As the guy that chose the motto submissions for the class to vote on, I can vouch that our motto was "Give us a place to stand, and we will move the world."

But it's close enough, and the reference to CGHS class of '65 sure bears investigation, doesn't it?
And anyone willing to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper needs to be writing posts to entertain us all here, doncha think?
Thanks for sharing, Hawk! :>)
(Clicking on the article enlarges it.... at least it did with my browser.)

Look in the last 'CG Class Of 65 Addresses" excel spreadsheet that I sent out. This person is listed under "Unknown Addresses"

Found another one! Good Job - JT and Hawkeye

I will follow up and try to make contact as soon as I get back in town.

Maybe this is a pen name or a take off from the letters in the name? I have never heard of this person either.
Maybe it is a wannabe since we were the greatest class of CGHS?
Maybe it is a typo. Maybe a joke.
Maybe they are to shy to tell us who they really are. Shouldn't be,
we are harmless.

Maybe it is someone dishing out unsolvable puzzles to see if we are indeed paying attention.

Anyway, some new clues, please.
