Sad news from BoMarGirl

Most of you know that Bo’s father has been so very ill for quite some time, now. Sadly he passed away this morning at St. Francis Hospital.

Bo has been running herself ragged between caring for her mother (who lives at the same place as Vandy) and spending every possible moment with her Dad.

She asked me to post this because she was having trouble logging on. If you would like to send a card and need her address, I’ll be happy to send it to you.

I know this is something that all of us have faced or will in the near future; it’s the season of our lives. Still, it’s such a wonderful blessing to be re-connected with good friends at times like these

Bo, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It's gotta be hard to be pulled in so many directions, then lose someone so dear.
Please know that all our hearts hurt for you and hope you are as well as possible.
God Bless you.

Oh Bo,

I am at a loss for words, but know my heart is with you during this trying time.
Just know you gave such dedication and love and tender care to your father and how much he appreciated it.
You were truly lucky to have had each other.

Bo's Dad took me home from school to get my clarinet one time. We were having some kind of Band event after school but I had left my clarinet at home (I wanted to throw it in the river)

Anyway Mr. R. drove me home. I couldn't believe he would do that since I lived on the edge of the earth and the opposite side of the county from their house.

Anyone else have any Mr. R. stories?

Bo, So sorry to hear about your dad. Having lost my dad last July, I know how you must feel. Know that God is in control and try to hold on to the "runaway roller coaster" that is this time for you. Think of your dad as young and confortable in heaven. I am so sorry for your loss. Barb Davidson

My Dear Bo- My heart is breaking for you! Harold was always so nice to me. I have so many wonderful memories of him. I am very saddened by his passing. My mom will be heart broken with this news. She thought the absolute world of him. He was so kind to her. He always treated her like an equal, even though she was only a factory worker and he had an "office" job in the "ivory tower". That's how Mom always put it. I dread telling her this news.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and Ruby! But always know how much everybody thought of him. His smiling face and wonderful sense of humor will be missed. I'm just fortunate to have known him.
Love & Hugs, Patsy & Mom
