OMG!! That is so funny.
Was she in our class?
No PT, I heard her on a radio show out of St. Louis, and I think she lives there. Apparently next month she is going to try for the "Guinness Book of World Records" by emitting the loudest burp ever recorded.
I know several of you will be anxiously waiting for me to report if she is successful, so "watch this space"!
I think it’s pretty funny! Love it!
There are a few folks on TV (mostly late night infomercials) that always make me smile. I wonder what they were like in HS.
There’s a guy with a high tenor voice who always talks LOUD. He gets really excited about cleaners and gadgets. Is there a woman somewhere who sees those commercials and says “Gee, that’s the same voice he used in the back seat of that Chevy. I see he is still selling hopeless equipment.”
Then there is the guy who becomes absolutely rapturous talking about the benefits of a clean colon. His hair is slicked back and he has a pencil mustache – looks sort of like a carnival barker. Is there a woman somewhere saying “I went to the prom with him!”? or “Well, that explains his long absences in the men’s room,,, or does it?”
There are others that make me smile. Like the guy/gal who did the faulty quality check on the Hubble telescope before it went up. Whew! Glad that wasn’t me! I’ve done so many stupid things in my life it’s always a relief to know I dodged a few. Bet there is a HS counselor some place saying “I told him he would never make a good builder. Who would have thought he would try to be a rocket scientist?”
Or the guy who measured the distance to Mars in miles/feet/inches instead of using the more scientific decimal system. Whew! Thank goodness I wasn’t anywhere near NASA! I wonder if there is a HS teacher someplace saying, “I knew that would happen when he couldn’t copy from Vinnie.”
I've tried several times to pull up YouTube, but can't do it. GH & PT has sent me stuff in email from YouTube and it just won't load on my "krunking dial-up" service!!!
Those late night Info-mercials are a hoot! Doesn't it seem like most items are $19.95 or $29.95? BUT, that's only if you respond in the next 10 minutes! Ha!!
