Recognize her?

Oh, come on, you all know her. Any guesses as to who she is?
She's almost our age, born in 1949.
This is just for fun!
I'll give ya a hint later.
1st hint:
her initials are C.P.
I briefly met her at an autograph signing
here in Indy at a car show many years ago.
She is NOT a race car driver nor an athlete.
2nd hint:
She holds a record in the
Guinness Book of World Records
as the youngest showgirl in Las Vegas history
(late 60's) but that's NOT what made her famous.
She's an actress with a "gimmick" and it's the gimmick
that has made her famous world wide.

Anonymous actually is the closest, but I won't say for which celeb, yet.

ALL of you have heard of her, I'm sure of it.

Ahh... Now I know!
But I had to cheat.
Even knowing her initials are C.P. won't help unless like me, you have lusted after her and done some prior digging.

A great trivia quiz, Joker!

GB!!!!!!
No fair cheating!!!!!
I had a feeling you would get it first, if you didn't already know it, but don't tell yet.

Not much of a hint, Joker. But, Looking a little closer at the photo with my eagle eyes, I have seen something... mmmmmmmm, looks familiar.

Let's see, GB, early morning workouts with DD and lusting after CP. It must have been in the water. I, too, would skip right over Capt. Kangaroo for DD and then a little later on in life, I would scour the TV listings for C.P.

Anonymous,

Looks like anonymous in slots 2 and 9 (which are the same) has some stiff competition here. LOL.
What a fun thing to do. Thanks.
Now what prize did I win?

Anonymous said...

Never heard of her

Greybeard said...

"Anonymous" must have a split personality...
"What prize did I win?", then-
"Never heard of her."

And Ashoka/Asoka...
You've got my curiosity peaked! Wanta give us a hint?

The Joker said...

Ok, I am lost. How did GB know Asoka's name? And are there 2 different anonymous'?
Is GB one of the anonymous?

Anonymous said...

Yes, there is more than one anonymous here. I am the original one, as well as number 9.
No split personality here. At least not on the books. LOL.
And this one for sure knows about the Mistress of the Dark.
TD mentioned his eagle eyes and looking closer, gosh TD did you really have to look that close. What two things are you talking about anyway. LOL.
Anyway Joker, great puzzle and more please.

Ashoka/Asoka.....

It was the eyes that did it for me. Always has been the eyes.....
Yes, two beautiful eyes.

TD

Are you saying the eyes,(ayes) have it?? That would have been my second guess as to what you were looking at.

TwoDogs said...

Yes, Anonymous (Asoka?), I think you are correct again. I have heard them called 'Headlights' in some previous posts. That is - if I haven't totally mis-read the 'tone' of those previous posts. Although, I have been known to read & see things differently than others.
No excuses, that's just me.
