When GB mentioned putting Vandy's photo in the Blog header, I started poking around inside the template (things are always easier when I haven't a clue what I'm doing)
Anyway, I found a template that lets us add a photo, plus it sort of has CG colors,,,, so I tried it. (The Blog program says we can go back to the old format if we want to.) Also, this template will let us add other things that I'm going to let GB and other smart people figure out.
If there is something you would like to add/change/delete please say so; it might not be possible but your opinion is welcome.

It's the wee hours of the morning, and I've been tinkering with colors, fonts, etc. on the blog. There are lots and lots of little things to adjust with this layout. Many of them are virtually unnoticeable, others more so. Some of the things I've done may not meet with your satisfaction. One of the things I did was to do away with the white overall background and change it to this light grey background. I think it makes the blog easier to read... the white was pretty stark. If you disagree, let me know and we can change it back.
As an aside, it's September 11th, and time to reflect on the importance of this day...

As for "wife-speak" being different here? Naw, it's the same the world over.
One small difference here is that he knows if he doesn't get it done, I am likely to 1) hire someone to take care of it or 2) take off on a tangent trying to fix it myself, knowing nothing about it, and end up with mess.
Hmmmm??? That may be why he doesn't let me problem solve on my own?

I am the adviser of the CG student newspaper, and my students are planning on doing a page in memory of Vandy. I was not here during Vandy's tenure; however, we are hoping to include some photos of him in our paper. If anyone has access to photos and would be willing to let us scan them in to use in our upcoming issue, please let me know. They have until Monday, Sept. 17 to complete their pages.
