The Puppy Whisperer

Unbelieveable! This is the fourth time I've tried to publish this video and comments about it, and every time I've pushed the "Publish Post" button, the video and my comments have been eaten by the internet monster!
I saw and enjoyed the video, and knew you'd enjoy it too.
I don't care much for the guy's singing, but you cannot argue with results... the puppies obviously think his voice is soothing!

I'm still frustrated by the lack of photos of "The Melon Queen" and her subjects, Bo. I like melons... Big melons, small melons, melons of all shapes and sizes. I was thinking last night, there are lots of melons in the world, and I don't think I've ever been around any I didn't like. So if you're back in the area of the Kroger store today, please thank the Queen for all of us... she's doing a wonderful job!

That's enough of my "fertilizer".
It's Friday...
WHASSUP??

GB,
Love the puppy whisperer!

Now I have to tell ya that when I saw the Queen yesterday she was instructing several ladies on how to purchase a ripe melon by pressing on the melon somehow. Well, GB, if you remember me at all you know I can't keep from sometimes falling over in laughter and this was one of those times. I had to get out of the produce section pronto! But I will keep an eye out for her and be better prepared with my cell phone in hand next time. Maybe she's headed your way.....better stop by Krogers frequently.

Awwww. How cute. You know I love puppies. I have two 9 week old pups now, and it's hard enough to get those 2 settled down, guess I'll have to sing to them, huh? Egads! That might tramatize them! But, for some reason I cannot hear this YouTube posting. I've had no trouble hearing any of the other stuff posted on here, but can't get this one. Anyone else having trouble? Oh well, I get the general idea, and at least the video works.

Speaking of watermelon. When I was a teen, and also in my 20's there were "Chinese Watermelon". Does anyone remember them? Are they still sold anywhere? Haven't seen any for years and years (but then again, I haven't been looking either). They are round, rather then oblong, and yellow inside. Used to eat them years ago and they are good, but as I recall, not quite as sweet as our regular Indiana watermelon. Has anyone had any Chinese Watermelon in the last few years?

Great video. I showed it to my husband and told him we needed to sing to our dogs, He said forget it!
GB - you have one too much time on your hands. Ha.

They grow yellow mellons in Fl. The gulf was great today. Red flags no swimming. The pool worked. Just another day in Fl

FLY HERE!

Love those puppies! And I didn't have any trouble with the sound. You didn't miss any great singing...just kind of funny. Those puppies are soooo cute!

Joker, what kind of puppies do you have? Two 9 weekers? You've got your hands full!

Does anyone other than me ever watch It's the Dog or Me??? I've seen it a couple of times and really like watching those misbehaving dogs instead of the "nightly news". The dogs are much, much funnier. And their behavior is so much better after the great dog tricks. I also admit that I occassionally want to slap the stupid dog owners! I can become violent when animals are mistreated! I need to quit the Resort Prision and become an Animal Police Person. We have a racoon that occassionally gets stuck in the dumpster at the Resort, and I have an escape ladder for her to climb out of the nasty dumpster! How lame am I? Oh well, I admit it!

Hi, Joker,

Good to see you out and about.
We do have a Thai melon here, smaller and round. We also have a local watermelon that is smaller and round and yellow, cold that be it?

Hey Joker,

How are you feeling? Did you ever fix up some great pancakes for yourself? Hope you are feeling a.o.k.

I think between you, Fly and me could have a zoo. I've adopted two Peking Ducks (like the Aflack Duck). They can't fly so I'm always on the lookout for them. I get corn from the feed store for them and give them water and food morning and night. I'm trying to get Clint to build a house for them for the winter....so far he hasn't so I may have to start building it myself.

Bo-
I like my Peking Duck with pineapple chunks and hot peppers, but I'm always open to new recipes if you have a good one.

Fly-
I watch that show, and Victoria kinda turns me on...
It's easy to imagine her with a whip saying "You've been SUCH a bad boy!"

And Joker-
We are so knocked out by our schnoodle, Lucy, that we wish we had not had her spayed until after we had bred her once. She's smart as a whip, and seemingly has the best of both the poodle and schnauzer breeds. You have a better feel for how well pups would move in todays market, but I'd sure consider another small schnoodle!

Hot, hot, hot today, with the humidity that goes along with late July. Things that fly don't like hot/wet days either. Yesterday I picked up a 58 year old gal that weighed 320 pounds, and was mighty glad I'd burned off nearly her weight in fuel just getting to the hospital to pick her up! Today's my last day of this shift... 7 days off coming up.
TD... the Tequiza's ice-cold.
Come On Down!
(Have you tried the new "BL"? Not bad.)

WHAAAAT! Nooooo GB, you stay away from Dixie and Jemima.

Fly,
Haven't seen that show....I'll look for it but I'm not sure we get that here. I'd rather watch that than the news.

I'm taking care of my cousin's Corgi this week. She can run as fast as the wind....no way can you catch her. I think she would be wonderful training for the Colts Camp. I'd love to see those guys try to catch her. Anyhow, my hands are full with her, our Beagle and 2 ducks.

BO MAR NEWS - FYI-The house that Mrs. Cornelius lived in is for sale, great place to live but you might catch Bomaritis.

GB- I'm glad to find another Dog or Me viewer! Victoria is beautiful! And , yes, I can see her telling you: "Such a Bad, Bad Boy" and cracking her whip. I'm sure you'd really enjoy having her feed you those tiny, tasty chicken bits too! I guess you'd also enjoy the collar & leash and all those walks to wee & poo...Ha! VK's should try to find this show and imagine GB out on a leash with this FOXY Victoria!

Now she's got some real melons and wears black leather...right GB?

Bo-Which house did Mrs. Cornelius live in...Bo-Maritis has hit me.

I feel for you dog-watching a corgi! They are the best little dogs, but herd everything in sight! It's hard to imagine how fast they run with those short little legs...ha! She could really teach the Colts' running backs a thing or two. Corgies can turn on a dime... Have fun with her! By the way, beagles are one of my most favorite dogs. They seem to stay puppies forever. I'm jealous that you've got one, but happy for you!

Are your ducks staying the winter with you? If they can't fly, are they walking south for the winter?

FLY HERE- The previous post was me! I forgot to "sign in"! I've got to find the time to get back to my Contributor site and get my password.

I'm such a dufus!

GB - I only have purebred poodles - 2 females left - you could breed them to a Schnauzer later and get what you want. This is her 4th & last litter! I have the only female from the first litter and I still get to see some of the pups I've sold from the previous litters and they are beautiful and very smart, just like the mom & dad (which I still have).

GH & Fly - thanks for the melon info. Have you tried the yellow melons?
Wow, that reminds me of the song "Mellow Yellow" !!!!

I'm gettin' kinda paranoid here. Everybody keeps asking me if I feel better. Was I sick?

To answer my own question:
Only mentally.

Joker,

Nah, I was just welcoming you back to our little part of the world. We sure miss your weekly puzzles. But of course, by the time I get them, the are solved. But it does make us use our brains again.
I just took this little test and it said my brain was 32, does that mean going up in age, or going down, and hey, why didn't my body follow suit. So many questions without answers. And that's only because my mouse wouldn't click where I wanted it to.

About the melons, yes, I have tried them and they are good, maybe just a little softer, but nice and sweet here.
I also buy green tomatoes and fry them. OM gosh, so good.
I also love yellow tomatoes and we get them here once in awhile.

As for your song,
I keep getting "Don't Worry, Be Happy" in my mind and it won't leave.
