He Imitates The Singer In The Group With The Low-Down Voice

Don't ask why, 'cause I have NO idea, but this tune has been in my head the last few days. It got quite a bit of play in 1961. We used to hear quite a few novelty tunes on the radio back then... today, not so much. Are we too serious these days?

Once again, it's Friday. Got anything to relate, even about your relations?

O.K. GB, I'm going to be my outspoken self and ask, "why on earth are you thinking about this song"? Am I missing something???

You tell me, Bo.
The mind is a mysterious thing. The only thing I can figure is I heard something about babysitting or something else mentioned in the song that brought it to the fore.
No worry...
It's likely tonight I'll hear something that will have me humming "My Friend the Witch Doctor" for the next few days!
I always share with those near me. Be glad you're not one of them.

Baby Sitting Boogie....
Sara Jean isn't pregnant, is she??
If she is, instead of humming 'My Friend the Witch Dotor" - you better make an appointment with him..

And Bo, Who said you were outspoken? Let me at him.....
Ya know, being outspoken is not a bad thing. Everyone should feel free enough to speak their mind. I do - GB does, and I've known for a long time that you do. Nothing wrong with that...That's what makes you - You.

Well aren't you the sweetest thing, TwoDogs! The person who told me I was outspoken is no longer with us but he worked in Guest Relations at Lilly (before your time there). I have always remembered him saying, "You know Mrs. W., you are rather outspoken". I did watch more what I said after that....or try to!

I too was similarly cursed by various ancient songs mysteriously appearing in my otherwise empty brain. Among them "Boomerang" , "Witch Doctor", "Zippidy do dah" and a host of others. Songs from 50 years ago are no problem, but 5 minutes ago - forget it. I guess senility is when the senior moments all merge into one.
