Excellent Idea - Quick Update

New date - Saturday, April 18 Noon Eastern Time

This is a go.... Be There or be Square!

An idea floated by GB, seconded by Ferdy and making it all happen - TC and Sharon. An early spring outing in Southern Indiana. Sunday, March 29 TopCat’s party barn in Chandler, Indiana. Start time will be around 2:00. Some will not be able to arrive until a little later - so plan on staying thru the afternoon. Address and directions: Take HWY I -164 South off of I64. Go down to the Lynch Rd. Exit turn left onto Lynch Rd. You will come to a stoplight which is HWY 62 turn left go to the first road you can turn right on that is Gardner Road go down about 1/2 mile house on right side. Address is 7411 Gardner Road, Chandler, In. 47610.

New faces that we are hoping to see on the 29th include Cissy, Rita and C&C. You are all welcome and we will guarantee a good time - revisiting old times in the Valley and at CG. Cissy, I’d like to hear more about your earlier school days in Greenwood. And I thought that I had a bad 2nd grade teacher….

Please reply (comment)if you are able to come. TC & Sharon will need to know how many to expect.

We did just book a room (gratis) at French Lick for the 28th, but I believe this would have us traveling in the opposite direction of heading home.

I'm gettin' old, ya know. Too far away for a "school night". I'd love to meet up with you all soon, but don't think it will happen for the 29th.

Have a great time. Don't let Cissy tell any lies about me.

Barring an unforeseen circumstance, we will be there. Can't wait to meet up with some fellow "Trojans". Bring yearbooks! I ran into my senior picture the other day. If I can excavate it from the cave wall it was painted on, I'll bring it too.

The folks from Illini land will be there. I get off work that morning and will need some rest in order to be sociable, but we'll be there ASAP.
DJ, save me some cole slaw.

I will be there. I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon with great friends.

This past Friday night was a lot of fun. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Hawkeye for getting it all arranged.

Guys I wanted to know if we can change the date? My son just called and he is getting his Doctrin degree the 29th at 2PM in Bloomington with ceremony and dinner. Sharon and I hate to miss that and were taking Sharons dad. He's 87 and this will mean the world to him to see his grandson get this degree. Can we change the date?
March 22 would work or April 4th or 5th. April 11th or 12th. April 18th or 19th. Please advise sorry for the mess up. He just called me at 1:00 and told me.

TC and Sharon, if that were my child I wouldn't miss it either. Congratulations to both of you and to your son. You should be very proud. That's quite an accomplishment.

Let me know what date you decide on.

Absolutely should not miss that. We can change the date - no problem.

What's best for everyone??

My schedule has changed.
I can make the evening of the 21st at the Black Buggy if anyone else is game.
(How flexible are the rest of you?)

Actually, it was "The Log Inn" that I was really interested in visiting.
I'm open to suggestion.
So suggest.

The Log Inn would be nice; but, I'd still like to find a date we can go to TC's. It will be a long drive for most people (I'm only an hour away from TC's and The Log Inn). At TC's we could stay longer and visit easier. We had a nice time at O'Charley's; but, we could only talk with whoever was sitting close to us. At TC's we could even play Hand and Foot! (Mr. and Mrs. Hawkeye taught me that game last night along with feeding me a delicious meal. Thank you both for a very enjoyable evening.)

Yes would love to have everyone at the party barn. Hope we can work out a date. Ferdy hand and foot is a good game we play it alot. Sharons got about 100 decks of cards.

Mrs. Hawk here, Congrats TC to you and your son-what an accomplishment!

We will be happy to be with you all where ever and when ever. We are flexable. Being able to play cards and move around sounds good too. So enjoyed watching "Dancing With the Stars" and playing Hand and Foot with Ferdy last night. So nice to have you in our neighborhood Ferdy. Thanks for coming!

Shifty and I would love to attend. Just let us know where and when.

I can have it March 22 or April 4th or 5th. April 11th. or April 18th or 19th. May 2nd. or 3rd. Everyone put dates down you can make and we will pick the one we can get everyone to.

I'll be in Tennessee on the 21 and 22 but any other time is good for us.

I forgot gonna be in Las Vagas that first week end in May.

At this point any of the dates are good for Shifty and me. If it is the 5th thats Larrys birthday and if it is the 19th that's my birthday. So those dates would be one heck of a birthday celebration.

But any time is good for us, just name the date and time.

Any day is good for us. Just let us know when.

Hey, come on let's get some dates on the board here and let's have a party. Names and numbers !

I think it's going to be hard to find a date that works for every one. Here are the dates I can't make it: April 4, 11, 12. I suggest TC set a date and whoever can make it goes and the ones that can't will have to go another time. There is just so much going on in the spring. I hope whoever does make it has a good time.

April 18 is fine. See you about noon. Thanks TC.

I'll be there; but, it will be a little later. I have job training from 8 to noon (slow time). Looking forward to seeing every one.
