Friends,
On Saturday, Dec. 5, in conjunction with a boys basketball game, we will honor many individuals who have had a part in the rich history of Center Grove High School. The game will be held in the West (Old) gym. Game time is 6:00 p.m.; tickets are $5. Please plan to be in the gymnasium by that time to enjoy all of the festivities; parking will fill early.
We plan to honor National Merit finalists, choral and band directors, former cheerleaders, all former coaches, former Administrators and Principals, former School Board members, Former teachers and staff, alumni who have served in the military, the oldest living male and female alum, state champions in all sports, boys and girls silver anniversary basketball teams, boys 50 year basketball team, all former male and female athletes. What a group!!!!
A reception will be held following the game in Room 333 at the north end of the gymnasium. An extensive display of CG memorabilia will be on display.
Please share this information with everyone you know and plan to attend. What memories that would bring back! Attending the alumni banquet there was wonderful...
Attending a basketball game there would fire synapses we quit using 40+ years ago!
The old concession stands are gone. I wonder how they'll sell cokes, popcorn, and big "Baby Ruth" bars?

I'LL BE THE FIRST TO SIGN UP TO GO. WHO ELSE IS GONNA BE THERE. WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A HUGE BUNCH FROM ''65". MAYBE WE CAN GET SOME THERE THAT HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET TO OTHER EVENTS.

GB, do you think they would miss you if you kinda borrowed an extra chopper and flew a wide circle for a quick quarter of B-Ball? Something tells me it would be a Good way to be down to only 2 pilots . . . . Sorry you can't make it. . . . be safe

Thanks for posting this info. I hope that we have a full contingent of 'Class of 65ers' in this mix. Like GB, I am not going to be able to make it. I am flying to Palm Bay that Friday. It sounds like a great time w/ lots of 'put back memories' coming forward. This is one 'You don't wanna miss!'

We won't be able to make it but I my OLDER brother is going to be one of those that was on the team 50 YEARS AGO!!!!
Just for you Carol, I DID see and talk to your OLDER brother last night, it was a good time. More later, Colts are on.
