Belated Birthdays

I've gotten so accustomed to Facebook and its Birthday notifications, I let two slip by this past week unnoticed:
TD and Tools.
Their B-Day was November 13th.
Bo also celebrated her birthday earlier this month.
I'm sure I'm forgetting others.
Remind us!

Tools and TD are a lot older than me. Just thought you should know.

Thanks for thinking of me ;)

Hay Bo, you and me both . . . I just turned 59 on
Oct. 4th . . . . . . Who would have thought I would be pleased to be 59 / forty years ago. I guess that's the new Jack Benny milestone. Ask a kid today, "Who was Jack Benny" time goes on but consider the alternative.

P.S.
Happy Birthday BO, TD, Tools and anyone else out there!

Thanks, GB and all, for the BD wishes! HB to all of those with recent and upcoming birthdays..

Tools and I were older than most in the our class. I know of a few that were older. Who was our youngest? I know that JF, 1969 500 Festival Queen, was one of our youngest class members.

Being one of the elders of the class had some advantages back then. Now, the big disadvantage is that I am older than most of you.... And feeling it at times.

I recently volunteered to help 're-do' the footing in an indoor riding arena. The arena is about 2/3rd. the size of a football field. It tooks 6 of us 4 full days to complete the job. W/O the arrival of some large loaned equipment on Friday evening, we would probably still be working on it. We were able to keep the equipment thru the weekend and that really allowed us to complete the job by Sunday evening. Still took alot of manual labor and the after effects of that - tells me that I am getting old....

We will be going back to Florida mid December. Staying in 'The River House' for at least a month. We will continue to 'look around'. Our Daughter will fly down Christmas Eve and we will all spend Christmas and New Years with Cinder's Mother, sisters and brothers. Looking forward to a great Holiday Season. Wishing the same for everyone!
