Great Memories

Have you ever experienced a moment where you wanted to stop time?
A time when things were so wonderful you thought to yourself, "If I could just freeze this moment and live this way the rest of my life, I'd be perfectly satisfied"?
I have.

It was some years ago, at Purple Tabby's Mother's home.
Jamie and Mike were playing for us.
A group of about twenty of us were gathered in the living room there, some sitting on the floor.
Classmates I had not seen since graduation were in attendance.
In that room, there was a warmth and LOVE that was palpable.

Tell me how to get back there.
But first, tell me how to stop time when we get there.

The Class of 65 really set the bar with their 50th class biography yearbook ... Had an opportunity recently to review it... Bravo to its many authors ... a solid piece of biographical historical work... the 'yearbook' had a special section for the CG young service men and women ... so many of them ...with Vietnam in the background ... a disproportionate fraction of a graduating class ... its comforting that everything in the big picture turned out OK ... even those passing on ... had a lot of classmates and family and friends with long and fond remembrances ... the 50th yearbook shows that CG 65 was obviously well mentored and raised under the nurturing umbrella that Vandy, good educators, good parents, good friends, and good cafeteria chili provided ....

My recommendation GreyBeard for continuity of this awesome site is to expand a bit ... Vandy, His Kids, Americana, and The Long Red And White Line of Center Grove Legacy Trojan Classmates ...
