TC (and son's) Party Barn

Yeah, I realize I'm behind in my duties. I also realize I'm gettin' behinder. So even though it's late I downloaded these pics from 18 April at Sharon and TC's and I'll get the Alumni banquet pics posted as time permits.

Sara Jean and I got a late start and arrived late. And even though the others had almost finished eating it wasn't a problem-
Food was not only tasty, but PLENTIFUL:
(As usual, click 'em to biggem.)

We had Chick-Fil-A nuggets and some of the most tender, best tasting pulled pork I have ever had the pleasure to lay a tongue on. Obviously, we had all the fixin's too, along with pie... and I LOVE pie!

This was a perfect place for our get-together. Pool table, foosball, air hockey, Big-Screen TV, smaller TV for secondary viewing, and plenty of room for horseplay (if you have a horse that wants to play)... kitchen, and bathroom right there, and decorated like a Sports Bar. We were all impressed!

Lots of room for sittin' and eatin', and a '65(?) Mustang in the background just waiting for a restoration.

Comfortable seating for tall-tale-tellers...

A full belly and comfortable seating will pretty quickly put a satisfied look on faces, and all VK's found themselves in that condition.
TC says he's ready to do it again sometime in the future...
Are you ready?

Sure looks like a great time. I'm sorry we missed the party. Maybe next year. I was think about the TeePee. Do any of you remember the filet of Sole sandwich? I was thinking about the first time I ordered it. Had no idea what it was.

TC and Sharon,
Thank you so much for a wonderful time. The food was fantastic (and so much of it).

Sharon, it was so much fun to sit and share some of the great times we had. I had forgotten all about our map project. It was a trick taking that big board on the school bus. Do you remember what kind of a grade we got on it???

Just wanted to mention that we had (two) little guests also present. Elle and Lucy really enjoyed themselves too. They have more or less become the mascots for the class.

For those of you who are not formilar with Lucy and Elle they are GB and Sara Jean and Echo and Shifty's little dogs.

You mentioned hosting again next spring. Hope we can make it another (annual) get together. Maybe with two a year we can be sure to get together with more people.

Thanks again for a wonderful time.

TC & Sharon's Barn Party looks like a real success, and what a perfect party place...OMG! Every toy & convenience known to man! Oh how I wish that I lived closer and could make every get-together. I know you all had a great time! March is tough for me, but I can always dream and try to make it next year.

TC: Thanks for the encouraging words! They do help! You come to FL anytime you can. The Captain is always ready to head to Islamorada..not just the first 2 weeks each June. There's an open invite for you & TD (anyone else too)! You have a wonderful time this summer & fall enjoying all your trips & fun! My best to Sharon's dad... enjoy the farm with him.

TC and GB, So enjoyed our day at the wonderful "Party Barn". So much food!! Great pulled pork, chicken, sides, and lots of pies. Why wouldn't it have been great to have been snowed in (sectional time) with friends, food and TVs, pool, Hand and Foot tournements, foose ball at this great Party Barn with such good company.

GB, the pictures are so good! Sure appreciate comments with the pictures. It really brings us back to the moment and those who couldn't be there must feel like they were! Thanks so much Dave.

De nada por nada, everyone...
Glad to do it. This was such a relaxing day, wasn't it? It's not that attending banquets and get-togethers at commercial sites isn't fun...
It's just that having no hurry and being able to sit next to and chat with a classmate at leisure to catch up on the passage of time is so satisfying.
Again TC, thank you for your generosity...
Personally, I feel ashamed for not having contributed more. And the idea of also making this an annual event?...
I'll plan on attending the after-hours slumber party next year!
(Don't forget your PJ's everyone!)

GB - As dj can testify I ran short on beds; but, I have couches, recliners, and lots of floor space. Maybe the next slumber party will be bigger!!

Hope every one has a great weekend.
