OTD Eufaula

"Out The Door"

We're all on our way home. What a GREAT TIME!
Sara Jean and I just finished lunch here in the Krystal restaurant in Montgomery, Alabama. We have another 10 hours or so to drive, but it's wonderful weather for the trip.

Several VK's got great pics, to include the 6 ib. 6 oz bass Harry caught. Beautiful!

Open forum time.
Tell us your news. We'll fill in more details about Eufaula when we unwind from the trip.

Sara Jean was in tears this morning...
"All our friends are gone!"
Yes, we had a REALLY nice time sharing and visiting together this time. Cissy and Leroy fit in like old friends. We could very easily have used two or three more days.
Except for the pollen. Azaleas were in bloom and were absolutely beautiful, but some were allergic to them.

Fantastic time - Great memories! Caught more bass than I have ever caught before. C&H, such gracious host - Thank You for putting this one together. The waffles were wonderful and truly 'smack your grandma' good! Harry's fishfry was mouthwatering. Mrs. Hawkeye's spaghetti dinner was perfect. We met new friends and they quickly felt like old friends. Great wine - Mr. Cissy makes a Chocolate Rasberry dessert wine that is out of this world!!! Cinders and I are already looking forward to the next mini.... Where and when to be decided, but hopefully ASAP...

Next stop for the VKs will be the CG Alumni gathering on June 12. BobWhiteDan will have tickets. I will be posting more about this on VK and also will be contacting as many of our of CG65 classmates as I can. I will provide a phone number for BWD when the tickets become available. If anyone knows of any Classmate that has not been contacted in years past (or have changed addresses, phone #s, email, etc.,etc..) - you need to let them know about June 12 and have them contact me. This will also be considered our 45th Class Reunion. So start making plans to join us this year at the Alumni Banquet/Class Reunion on June 12th.

The weather was just what we ordered. Sun and a little rain to wash the pollen away.
It was great to meet Cissy and Leroy, They are so much fun. Cissy I'm not going to tell all of what Leroy told us while you were looking at houses....
Sara Jean, watch out Waffle House, if the public finds out about you.. They are out of business.
Steve, I guess you will be taking KVD's place on the Bassmasters.
Terry always caught fish when no one else could (I guess it was the spinning reel).
Bob your wife Barb can cook anything. You should look like me(fat). I hope you found fish is a good break from beef (once a year).
I think the girls played cards so much that Vegas may go under.
Carol and I had so much fun. It makes me think more about retirement. H of H&C
